How to use Relay
1. Get access
Request access with your name and email. A person reviews it. Once you're approved you can sign in.
2. Connect your Instagram account
On the dashboard, click Connect Instagram. You sign in on Instagram's own screen — Relay never sees your password. It has to be a public Professional account (Business or Creator).
3. Make an automation
Go to Rules → New automation. Pick a word (like GUIDE or LINK), write the public reply, and write the DM. Set an end date. Save.
4. It runs on its own
When someone comments your word on your post, Relay posts your reply and sends them the DM — within Instagram's rules (one DM per comment, within 7 days). Anyone who comments “stop” is never messaged again.
5. Check Analytics
See how many comments matched, how many replies and DMs went out, which rules and posts are working.
About the free trial
- • The trial lasts 14 days from when your account is approved.
- • Free automations can run for up to 7 days each, then pause. Turn them back on any time.
- • Any automation with no matching comments for 14 days pauses automatically.
- • When the trial ends your automations pause — nothing is deleted. Upgrade to Creator (₹499/mo) to keep going.
